death, thou shalt die

Death, be not proud, though some have called thee
Mighty and dreadful, for thou are not so;...
One short sleep past, we wake eternally,
And Death shall be no more: Death, thou shalt die.

John Donne, "Death, Be Not Proud," in Untermeyer, Treasury of Great Poems, 368 as quoted in Tad R. Callister, The Infinite Atonement. 2000. p. 172
