The Lord, when confusing the tongues of the people, made a rather significant statement. He said:

. . . and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. (Gen. 11:6.)

Man has his free agency and God will not limit his imagination to try and realize his fondest dreams. He may set bounds of mortal achievement, but this knowledge will only be realized by man when those bounds are reached and cannot be penetrated.
